The second workshop of the project "Use of Joint Investigation Teams (JIT) to fight Trafficking in Human Beings in the Western Balkans at the local level (JIT THB WB)" will take place from 11 to 13 March in Opatija, Croatia

Following the workshop in Slovenia from 10 to 12 December 2013, the local/regional-level law enforcement officials and prosecutors from Croatia will gather in Opatija, Croatia, from 11 to 13 March.

Again, a case study will also be conducted in order to provide the practitioners with basic practical knowledge regarding JIT formation and its role in a more efficient fight against trafficking in human beings.

Some 40 Croatian experts from the prosecution and the police are expected to attend the workshop.
